All content in Word includes the Language attribute.(The latter can be useful for making it easier to see content set with a different language, and can be reversed prior to printing.) For example, you could find any content set with Language="English (Canada)" and change it to Language="English (Australia)", or find any content set with Language="French (France)" and change its font color to Blue. The Language attribute is "invisible", but it can be included in Find and Replace. The attribute may be be included in any content you paste from another source: unformatted text will not include it (also for Paste > Keep Text Only) content set with styles will use the Language attribute of the same-named styles in the destination if Past > Merge Formatting is used, but retain the original setting if Paste > Keep Source Formatting is used. ![]()
